Several skills were acquired, the stands outs are development of our pitch and effective negotiations.

You need the return on investing in yourself - it is immeasurable.
What’s the one skill you learned during the course that you know you’ll come back to throughout your career?
I cannot pick just one single skill!
But - I can share my top two.
1) Learning how to create and use my personal pitch has been revolutionary
2) Negotiating!

What would you say to someone who is considering investing in themselves with the course - is the investment of money worth it?
Before the course I felt unsure and intimidated about negotiating and advocating for myself, now I feel confident and empowered knowing how to navigate those conversations.
My raise was more than the standard 3% everyone else at work got, so I was thrilled to negotiate much more than what other people received for the year-end salary review.
What peptalk would you give to someone who is on the fence about investing in themselves, their career, and their support network right now?
To someone considering investing in themselves with the course, I’d say stop thinking and invest. You’re your best and sometimes only advocate and every dollar you put in you get back plus more.
If you’re on the fence, think about where you see yourself in 3 months. If you’d like to see yourself knowing your value, knowing how to ask for it, and meeting some kick-arse women who will cheer you on all the way time to get off the fence and into the course.
What’s the one skill you learned during the course that you know you’ll come back to throughout your career?
Hard to pick one thing I’ll always come back to because it’s an iterative process and access to all the resources in perpetuity means I can come back to specific pieces as needed. To pick one thing, I always come back to the negotiation module when preparing for a big conversation
